By entering this promotion you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety.

Entry is open to all New Zealand residents except employees of General Mills New Zealand Ltd of 46 Greenmount Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland, 2141, New Zealand (“The Promoter”), its associated companies, suppliers, agencies & participating outlets and their immediate families, who are all ineligible to enter.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is in breach of the terms and conditions of the promotion. The Promoter’s decision on any aspect of the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for late or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.

The promotion commences at 12.01am on Monday 25 January 2010 and closes at 11.59pm on Saturday 6 March, 2010.

Entry is available via text SMS entry only. To enter, participants must, within the entry period: A) purchase ANY specially stickered promotional Old El Paso® Dinner Kit, Tortillas or Taco Shells pack OR ANY specially stickered promotional pack of NZ beef or lamb mince from participating retailers in New Zealand. B) send the unique code on the sticker to short code 377.

Each text entry must contain only one unique entry code printed on promotional stickers from any qualifying Old El Paso® pack purchase OR one unique code printed on promotional stickers from any qualifying NZ beef or lamb mince pack. Once a text is received, the entry will be verified by a free return text message to the entrant’s mobile phone.

Standard Telecommunications network operator charges will apply at the rate of 20 cents (including GST) per individual text or attempted text ie. each valid entry will cost 20 cents inc GST.

Subject to other terms and conditions participants may enter the promotion as many times as they like so long as each entry consists of a unique code from a qualifying Old El Paso Dinner Kit, Tortillas or Taco Shells pack or NZ beef or lamb mince pack. Each purchased product may only be used to enter the promotion once.

There is one first prize to be won. The first prize is the winner’s choice of a 2010 model Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4L vehicle with 4 speed automatic transmission OR a Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.6L vehicle with 5 speed manual transmission including on-road registration expenses and a full tank of petrol and a 5 year/100,000km warranty (whichever comes first) valued at $26,490.00 OR $24,990.00 (inc. GST) respectively. Winners may choose their preferred standard body paint colour from those available at the time. All other associated costs including but not limited to vehicle insurance and prize collection from the winner’s nearest Ford dealership are excluded from the first prize package and will be the sole responsibility of the drawn winner. The first valid entry drawn on March 20th, 2010 will be deemed the first prize winner.

There are 40 daily prizes of RedBalloon “Siesta Spa” vouchers to be won. These will be awarded in the form of Gift Certificates of $100 value redeemable against a range of spa and wellbeing treatments throughout New Zealand (subject to the redemption limitations specified on the vouchers). A daily prize draw will be conducted every day commencing Wednesday 27 January 2010 to Sunday 7 March 2010 inclusive. One daily winning entry will be awarded each day from all entries received the previous day. The first valid entry drawn from the previous day’s entries will be awarded the daily prize. Entries are only valid for the daily draw they arrive in time for but all entries including drawn daily winners’ entries will be re-entered for the first prize draw.

All draws are final. No correspondence will be entered into. All prize winners will be notified by phone and mail. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency for delivery of prizes and/or prize information. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the Promoter or their designated agents are unable to make contact with any winner for any reason, having first attempted to make contact at least 3 times and left messages where possible, they reserve the right to re-draw and re-allocate the prize to another entrant after three weeks following the relevant prize draw.

Daily prizes will be delivered within one week of each winner providing their address information. Arrangements will be made with the first prize winner for the awarding and handover of their chosen prize vehicle. If the drawn winner of the first prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to a parent or guardian of the winner, as determined by The Promoter. All prizes are non-assignable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without any intention to limit a consumer’s rights under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Promoter makes no warranties or representation, either express or implied, regarding the prizes, other than those stated in these Terms and Conditions and expressly excludes all liability and warranties, including (without limitation) in respect of type, quality, standard, fitness or suitability for purpose of all prizes provided by The Promoter.

All entries become the property of The Promoter and will be held until the conclusion of the promotion, after which time, they will be destroyed. Personal information of winners may be disclosed to other agencies associated with this competition to assist with publishing of results, distribution and supply of prizes. Failure to provide truthful and accurate information may result in those entrants being ineligible for a prize. The Promoter takes your privacy seriously. Entrants do have rights of access to and correction of personal information held by the Promoter and should contact the Promoter at the address specified above to do so.

If for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned for reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

By entering, all prize winners agree to the use of their name, locality and photograph for publicity purposes.
